fill in还是fill up

fill in 和 fill out 都可以用来指填写表格，文件等信息，后面可以直接接宾语，也可以分开写。

fill in 偏向于较小的空格， fill out 的范围较大，如整张申请表或问卷

如:

He tried to fill out his application form, but there was a blank that he didn’t know what to fill in. 他试着填写他的申请表，但有一个空格他不知道怎样填。

The teacher asked us to fill in the blanks with prepositions.老师在空白处叫我们填入介词

fill up 加满，装满，注满

如:

I’d like to fill up my beer glass. 我想把我的啤酒杯装满。

If you are hungry, fill up on some rice or noodles. 如果你饿了，可以吃些米饭和面条。
