一、意思不同

1、normal：典型的，正常的，一般的。

2、ordinary：普通的，平常的，一般的，平凡的。

3、common：常见的，通常的，普遍的，共有的。

二、用法不同

1、normal在句中可用作定语、表语或宾语补足语。normal无比较级和高水平形式。还可用作名词，意思是“正常排位”“常态”。

例如

Things soon returned to normal.

情况很快恢复了正常。

He appears a perfectly normal person.

他看上去完全是个正常的人。

We are open during normal office hours.

在正常上班时间内，我们都开放。

2、ordinary在句中可用作定语，也可用作表语，偶尔也可用作宾语补足语。ordinary没有比较级和高水平。
