在英语中什么时候用theyare

在人数是两个及以上的时候，也就是人数是复数是用they are.举例说:Who are they? They are my classmates:Zhanghang、Lishanshan and Situhong。他们都是谁？是我的同班同学:张航、李珊珊和司徒宏。

也指代复数名词。比如:

What are they in the bag?

They are some books 、a pencil-box and a waterbottle.

这书包里一些书本、一个铅笔盒和一个水杯。
