scold和swear的区别

scold:

vi. 责骂；叱责

vt. 骂；责骂

n. 责骂；爱责骂的人

I was scolded by the teacher for being late.

我因迟到被老师责骂了。

swear:

vt. 发誓；咒骂

vi. 发誓，宣誓；诅咒

The woman swears at the boy with rude words.

那个女人用粗鲁的话咒骂那个男孩。

Your swear is nothing but empty words.

你的誓言只不过是句空话。

I swear I don't know anything about what happened.

我发誓我对发生了什么一无所知。
